AI Resume Analyzer & Candidate Tracking Automation
A client was overwhelmed by the volume of resumes arriving via email for open roles and had no structured way to track, evaluate, or compare candidates. The manual process of opening emails, downloading attachments, reading resumes, and recording candidate details was time-consuming, inconsistent, and prone to errors.
I designed and implemented an AI-powered resume analysis and candidate tracking system that automatically processes incoming resumes from email, evaluates them against the job description, and organizes all candidate data into a structured Google Sheet for easy review.
The Problem
- High volume of resume emails with no tracking system.
- Manual resume screening was slow and inefficient.
- Important candidate information was often missed.
- No centralized database for comparing applicants.
- Recruiters spent more time sorting emails than evaluating candidates.
The Solution
I built an AI automation agent that:
- Monitors the client’s email inbox for incoming resumes.
- Automatically downloads and reads resume attachments (PDF/DOC).
- Uses AI to analyze each resume against the specific job description.
- Extracts key candidate information such as Full Name, Contact Details, Years of Experience, Skills, Education, Previous roles, e.t.c.
- Logs all extracted data into a structured Google Sheet in real time.
